Matthew Holman comes from a family of stylists, his career started at the age of 13
doing hair for his sister’s pageant and television appearances. New York and London
are the launch pads of Matthew’s professional career, where he trained as an
apprentice for Vidal Sassoon Salons. A true prodigy of their culture, Matthew was one
of the youngest stylists to become an Instructor of cosmetology and advanced hair
color at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica.
Emmy award winning hair stylist and owner of Matthew Ray Salon, Matthew splits his
time between several television shows, the salon, and guest appearances as a
celebrity hair stylist. He is a Stylist for “Days Of Our Lives”, “Biggest Loser”, and is
highly sought after for red carpet events, fashion shows, and photo shoots.
Matthew practices a diverse approach to working with hair, he believes that each
person deserves something of their own. His work consists of a thorough consultation,
and an in depth look into the history of the hair. His signature way of doing hair
combines structure, science, and finishing . He insists his passion and creativity is
brought forth from his clients and friends who are always looking for something new
and exciting.
